Arcade POS & Cashless Game Card Management Software
Cashless arcades live or die on the card layer: what a swipe costs, where the credit came from, and whether the money reconciles at the end of the night. We build that layer onto the 8BallPOS wallet, F&B and reporting platform.
What ships today, and what we build for you
The wallet, top-up, packages, promotions, F&B POS, staff controls and reporting are standard in 8BallPOS today. Cashless card media, machine readers, per-game pricing at the reader and ticket redemption are delivered as project work. This is delivered as a project, not an off-the-shelf module: we scope the hardware, integrations and workflows with you, then build and install the setup your venue needs. Tell us what you operate and we will tell you honestly what is standard, what is integration work, and what is custom development.

Honest scope for arcade projects
Arcade cashless is a hardware problem wearing a software badge. The card media, the readers on each cabinet, how they are wired and powered, and how they behave when the network drops, determine whether the system works on a Saturday night. We do not publish this as a switch-on feature, because it is not one.
What we do: scope the machines and the floor, choose the card and reader hardware, integrate it with the 8BallPOS wallet and reporting platform that already exists, install it, and support it. What you get on day one from the standard product is the commercial spine — accounts, balances, packages, promotions, staff controls, F&B and reporting.
Why operators choose it
- Cash handling reduced to top-up points instead of every cabinet.
- Every credit traceable from sale to the machine it was spent on.
- Pricing and promotions changed centrally, not cabinet by cabinet.
- Prize cost tracked against the points that bought it.
- Per-game revenue that shows which cabinets to rotate out.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the arcade card system an off-the-shelf 8BallPOS module?
No, and we would rather say so. Card media and cabinet readers are hardware integration work quoted per venue. The wallet, top-up, promotions, F&B and reporting they connect to are standard product.
Can we start with the wallet and add cards later?
Yes, and many venues should. Customer accounts, balances, packages and promotional credit work today on phones and at the counter; card media can be added when the floor justifies it.
Do you handle prize redemption?
Points, prize inventory and a redemption counter are built as part of an arcade project, sized to how your prize wall actually operates.
Ready to run your game center on autopilot?
See 8BallPOS live with your own venue in mind — free, usually 30 minutes. No public price list: we quote what your venue actually needs.
